Airtex Products Realigns Engineering Services and Support

Fairfield, IL - 28 November, 2007: Airtex Products, LP appointed Gerard (Jerry) G. Betz II as director of engineering leading the Airtex Engineering Services and Support (ESS) division for fuel delivery systems. In this role, Betz is responsible for a wide variety of initiatives designed to support continued global growth in the fuel delivery systems market.

With over 18 years of experience with such companies as General Motors and Harley Davidson, Betz brings a background in fuel delivery systems design and product knowledge.

Curt Ulm, director of engineering for the Airtex Engineering Products and Programs (EPP) division, is responsible for design excellence and support.

“Adding Jerry to the Airtex team is a strategic move that allows us to focus on global growth while keeping a dedicated presence on our engineering and manufacturing practices at our corporate headquarters,” says Martin Walsh, Airtex vice president of engineering.

Walsh, recently promoted from director of OEM sales to vice president of engineering, brings over 12 years of experience with Airtex along with a global background in fuel delivery systems design and manufacturing.
